Cancellation and Refunds
A PandaLogix licence is refundable within 7 days of payment, provided the key has not been activated on a gateway. This page says exactly what that means and how to ask.
Effective 9 September 2026
The policy
You may cancel a licence and receive a full refund if both of the following are true:
- You ask within 7 days of the payment date, and
- the licence key has not been activated on any gateway.
The second condition is checkable rather than a matter of judgement. Our control plane records the activation of every key against the gateway that claimed it, so either an activation exists or it does not — and we will tell you which we see before declining anything. We would rather have a rule you can verify than a discretion you have to appeal.
Try before that clock starts
The installers on the downloads page are public and free to take. Install the gateway, point it at your controllers and confirm it reads what you need it to read before you buy a key. That is the intended order of events, and it is why the refund window can be short and conditional without anyone being caught out.
What is not refundable
- A key that has been activated. A perpetual licence and its binary do not come back once the software is in production, so an activated key is a completed sale.
- Requests made more than 7 days after payment.
- Commissioning, on-site assistance, custom driver work or any other service already performed. If a service was part-delivered we refund the undelivered part.
- Enterprise and OEM-embed agreements, which are governed by the cancellation terms of the signed order rather than by this page.
When we refund outside the policy
If the software does not do what its documentation says it does, and we cannot fix it in a reasonable time, you get your money back whether or not the key was activated and whether or not 7 days have passed. A duplicate or mistaken charge is refunded in full as soon as we spot it or you tell us. Those are not exceptions we make quietly — they are the policy.
How to request one
Email business@tariniengg.in from the address the licence was bought under, with:
- the order or payment reference,
- the licence key, and
- one line on why — useful to us, and never a condition of the refund.
We acknowledge within one working day and tell you at that point whether the refund is approved.
How the money comes back
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment instrument — the card, account or UPI handle used to pay. We cannot redirect a refund to a different instrument or a different person. Once we initiate it, expect 5 to 7 working days for it to appear, depending on your bank; the delay after that point is theirs, not ours, and we will give you the payment gateway's reference so you can chase it.
Refunds are of the amount actually paid, including the GST charged on it. A credit note is issued against the original invoice.
Cancelling before payment
A quotation or proforma invoice carries no obligation. Tell us you are not proceeding and it lapses — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
Still unhappy
If a refund decision seems wrong to you, reply on the same email thread and ask for it to be reviewed by the proprietor. Our contact details, including a phone number and postal address, are on the contact page.
